"I’d always planned to have a grand adventure in South America, but life had a habit of getting in the way."
Like so many women, I got caught up in a whirlwind of career and children and home-making which kept me busy for decades. I could never seem to find a travelling companion who was free at the same time, and who shared the same dreams of climbing Macchupichu and seeing the natural wonder of Patagonia. And by the time life finally slowed down and I had the freedom to rediscover myself, I’d lost the confidence to travel on my own in unfamiliar territory.
The opportunity to experience the natural beauty and vibrant culture of Peru and Chile - and to share it with a small community of female travellers - is a dream come true. And what really excites me about the carefully curated program that LTR offers is the cultural immersion - meeting local women, experiencing the local markets and nightlife, and walking the same ancient trails as the Incas. Of course, doing it all in luxury is a bonus!
Our journey together promises to be a magical once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Tour Type 3
The rhythm of South America is irresistibly seductive, while each country within this captivating continent also dances to its very own beat. On the western coast, the ancient land of Peru retains the mystery of the Incas, with its mountains and valleys enfolding archaeological wonders and Andean communities that beg to be discovered, even as its bustling capital offers up coveted cuisine and architectural chic.
Further south, Chile is a breath of fresh air in its dynamic capital of Santiago, the stunning vibrancy and sophistication of its coastal cities, and of course, the ultimate, bucket-list natural adventure that is Patagonia.
This expertly curated Journey with Juanita Phillips allows a select group of likeminded travellers to access an awe-inspiring breadth of experience and exploration in 13 days, with all the luxury inclusions and meticulous detail that one would expect from a tour of this calibre.
